Joan Adsit
Joan Adsit, LCSW and Torrey
Joan Adsit, LCSW strives to provide a safe environment and compassionate care for individuals of all ages as well as couples and families.

Fueled by over 21 years of experience in counseling and her extensive training in EMDR and trauma approaches, she guides clients to examine and heal wounds left by intergenerational and family issues, vehicular accidents, breaches of trust, abandonment, combat experiences, and much more.

She is well versed in the many ways trauma can present itself, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, negative self-talk, avoidance, self-sabotaging behaviors, addiction, relational difficulties, and beyond.

Joan is often accompanied by Torrey, a 15-lb shelter success story who provides his own form of therapy.

Mandie Parks
Mandie Parks, LPC and Ash

Amanda (Mandie) Parks is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with over 12 years experience in the field. She is a Wyoming native and earned her Master’s in Counseling from UNLV.

Amanda serves couples and individuals ages 13 through end of life, providing treatment for a wide variety of mental health needs.

Amanda utilizes a Person-Centered approach and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address many presenting problems. She utilizes Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for treatment of trauma.

Specialization Areas: Eating disorders, body image concerns, disordered eating, and career counseling

When not at the office, Amanda enjoys all things outdoors, spending time with family, cooking, and her adorable pup, Ash (whom you will frequently find at the office).

Eddie Bujans
Edward Bujans, LCSW
Edward Bujans, LCSW, is a first-generation Cuban-American and he was born and raised in New York City.

Mr. Bujans received his undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College (CUNY) and his Master of Social Work from the University of Utah.

Mr. Bujans has been practicing since 2009 and his approach is to take rational and ethical steps to address the suffering of clients from adolescents to seniors. Mr. Bujans employs a person-centered philosophy, prioritizing the autonomy and self-determination of every individual he supports. He ensures compassion and respect are present in a safe environment.

Mr. Bujans integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness to address a myriad of mental health challenges, including depression and anxiety. Additionally, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT).

Faith-integrated Counseling is available per request. Specialization: treatment of depression. He can provide counseling in English and Spanish. Mr. Bujans is married and has four children, and three mischievous cats. He is active in his Christian faith. In his downtime, he enjoys writing and karate.
